Ahora sabemos que es necesaria una transformaci\u00f3n profunda en nuestro sistema de producci\u00f3n dirigida a reducir el uso de materias primas y combustibles f\u00f3siles, as\u00ed como la generaci\u00f3n de residuos.<\/p><p>Siguiendo el ejemplo de la naturaleza, en el modelo circular los residuos se convierten en recursos: el producto se dise\u00f1a pensando en su futura deconstrucci\u00f3n y en c\u00f3mo aprovechar cada una de sus partes para otros usos sin perder valor o utilizar grandes cantidades de energ\u00eda en el proceso. Es decir, no vale reciclar de cualquier forma, este nuevo paradigma busca minimizar el impacto medioambiental de la actividad humana, pero quiere hacerlo de forma eficaz y rentable en el largo plazo.<\/p><p>El Plan de acci\u00f3n para una econom\u00eda circular de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea se\u00f1ala al sector de la construcci\u00f3n como uno de los que m\u00e1s puede contribuir a acelerar la transici\u00f3n hacia la econom\u00eda circular. Si miramos las cifras, entendemos por qu\u00e9: en Europa, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breeam.es\/comunicacion\/noticias\/como-anticiparse-a-la-normativa-europea-de-construccion-sostenible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">este sector produce un 35% de las emisiones de efecto invernadero<\/a> y consume un tercio del agua; adem\u00e1s, los <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/spain\/news\/20190318_Recycling-is-the-future-we-do-it-in-the-EU_es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">residuos de construcci\u00f3n y demolici\u00f3n (RCD) representan el 30%<\/a> de todos los generados en la UE.<\/p><p>La construcci\u00f3n circular da prioridad al bienestar de las personas y al cuidado del medioambiente, y aporta beneficios a gran escala medibles desde el principio.
